I really savoured Cathy’s latest novel “Husbandry”, with its arboreal, fun twists and turns.
Her insightful and most witty observations of her characters (they had me laughing out loud!), and their scheming motives kept me entertained and suspended till the very end.
I haven’t read many books like this one. I highly recommend this book. Its beautifully artistic descriptions, its intriguing characters and its unique storyline make it worth your time. Give it a try, you may find Felix as alluring as I did.
I’m of the Sabrina the Teenage Witch era and there were definitely elements of the book that had a Sabrina Salem feel which I loved!

‘I thought it operated on many different levels, but made me feel that our lives may not be restricted to the here and now and that humans and animals may not be very different. The only other book I’ve read that sticks in my mind over last few years is A Gentleman in Moscow. If you’ve read that, I think most would agree I set my bar quite high!

Well, this is a little treasure trove of a book. It’s a little bit of magic, a lot of imagination and some Egyptian history – all wrapped up in a fantastsic story about relationships and families.
I am not very inclined to read fiction however this book changed my perception.
